Their Priorities Are Screwedup

Charter should pay more attention to getting their basic systems functioning well in all of their areas before doing addons in some. Their service in Newport, Oregon is a bad joke and basically sucks. Their so called HD tier is minuscule, and what is worse, they provide no HD from the Portland stations, which are the network stations and might be deemed "local" for Newport. Furthermore, the picture quality of the signal from a HD box was far worse than the picture delivered by the built in tuner on my set.

While I would like to keep Charter for simplicity's sake, I am ready to move to Dish as soon as I can get my HOA to approve an antenna on my garage roof. Personal experience has now proven correct all of the negative comments about Charter expressed by others. They really need to get their sh*t together or get out of the business!

By law you dont have to get your HOA to approve a Dish Network or Direct TV antenna. The HOA can not tell you you cant have it.
