There is mention of the difference in this promotional video from DLink: »www.dlinktv.com/?vid=182 . I must admit it is rather confusing.

 Hi folks...I have a DIR-655 right now and it's been quite a wonderful router. I've recommended it to several friends and everyone is happy.

My question is ... is there a real difference in the QoS for gaming on the DGL-4500 as opposed to the DIR-655? I game online with my XBox 360 a decent amount ... and if there really is a difference, I'd probably upgrade to the DGL-4500.

What I don't understand is how the DIR-655, with its automatic QoS classification, is somehow going to do worse than the DGL-4500. Can anyone clarify whether there is a real improvement using the DGL-4500 vs the DIR-655 for online gaming, and why?
