| reply to howie said by howie :Here's the DVD and case I made a while back for my Vista SP1 DVD (created from the SP1 ISO). howie how do you get your dvd cover and your printable dvd lined up so perfectly ? A lot of the time my dvd cover the spine has a little on the front or the back of the dvd case that you can see when it is just laying down. I know it shouldn't be like this. It looks like NYR11 picture but without the white border. Your printable dvd image is a easy image to line up but how do you do it when their is a image on it on most of the dvd how do you line it up just right? |

| reply to imtim83 I guess I was just lucky. I printed the DVD cover (PNG Image) on 8.5 X 11 glossy photo paper, trimmed the white border off and it fit the DVD case just right (spine lined up). I used my Epson R300M with the SureThing CD/DVD labeling program to print the PNG image on the printable DVD and it lined up as well. -- N.Y. Giants - Super Bowl XLII Champions |

I guess that may be why although there were many of these cover art images floating around the net. Some may have been slightly different and hard to line up in the case properly once printed and cut. -- N.Y. Giants - Super Bowl XLII Champions |

I think when you print out the Vista cover and place it in a "single" slim DVD case it doesn't line up as well. Like mine |

Yep when you want a slim dvd cover you need to custom resize the cover yourself or have it done for you. I don't really like slim dvd cases but I see how they have a point in saving a lot of space. |
