No, it's connected correctly. Line jack into DSL modem (no filter), DSL modem into linksys router. No other phones in the apartment. It's a dry loop DSL line.

I'll find out the rest. No DSL light on the modem would seem to indicate a line or modem problem, I'd think.

Also, no way to change IP address without contacting them?

If you have no DSL sync then you have no WAN IP address.
