Good luck, especially if you're running standard dmt/ADSL2+. The sync cap on dmt/ADSL2+ is 1Mbit, and you won't get that after overhead. Also, a lot of CPEs/modems will only sync at 896K max. I believe Annex M is supposedly something that may help/change this, but, as with any DSL, highly distance sensitive. And, not too many providers are running Annex M ADSL2+ Excuse me if I got some of that wrong, I'm just going from memory here. All I know that is the max you'll be able to get is around 768-850 after overhead, anyhow. And that's only if your Rx rate is sync'd at 1Mbps. Verizon doesn't utilize Annex M.
