Arlington, VA | Hey Skins fan, yes anything connected to switch 1 can ping something else plugged into switch 1 no problem. therefore I don't believe switch one is the problem.
Switch 2 is fine pinging other items connected to switch 2 no problem as well.
Switch 1 and Switch 2 can ping each other, however I am somewhat concerned with this type of test as the CLI only sends one ping probe and it usually succeeds. The first ping probe usually works from Computer A to Computer B, however we then start seeing 50% loss.
The length of the fiber run is between Equinix buildings on the DC campus and I believe is less than a mile. |
