[F@H] Not credited Work Units - dogtired12782's thread

Hello folks, I am dogtired12782, none of my work has shown up for the past few days, I have a ps3, two desktops ( one is a dual core running two projects) and one laptop and I know they are completing the projects.

Just changed the title.

Re: [F@H] Not credited Work Unit

Upload the relevant FAHlog.txt files if you can. I think an anon can do that, but it's free to join the site if you find you can't. We need to see a number of things in order to help you.

Check all clients. You may have a couple of clients which are folding for anonymous, team 0. This happens sometimes when people try to edit the client.cfg file instead of running a reconfig using the -config or -configonly switch.

I might have figured out what happened with my desktop computers, my daughters 14 and 16 turned off the folding while they were chatting with boys and back on when they slept for awhile. I could see the delays in the logs. But the ps3 usually complete's a unit in about 10 hours or so and should have finished something. It was working everytime I looked at it and the girls do not mess with it. Iam not sure how to open the log on it,

The PS3 deadlines are very short, so you may have missed deadlines. Even though you complete the WUs and send them home, you don't get the credits if you don't make the deadline.

Check for an XP box which sent home a WU this morning for no credits.

CPU ID # 7C17C6F726XXXXXX2D

Do you have an SMP client installed, but the computer is too slow to meet the deadlines?

Im new at all this, was unaware of deadlines. I was downloading a job on my laptop and then bringing it to work to crunch and then back home to upload. This explains a lot.
My ps3 did complete and upload a job at 3:15 central time today and I suppose somehow it missed a deadline or someting because I recieved no credit for that one. I will have to rethink my methods and make corrections. Thanks

I am concerned about this pc. It keeps returning WUs for 0 ponts. Could you find that one and upload these two files as attachements:

FAHlog.txt
FAHlog-Prev.txt
client.cfg

How To upload attachments: »Site FAQ

This is probably a P4 running Windows XP. I need to see all of the log and it would be good to know what processor the box has and how much RAM.

Leave this one alone. This one seems to be returning WUs and getting credit just fine.

I don't fold with a PS3, so I don't know if they have logs or not. If so, please post those.
