Monthly caps?

Isn't this the fttp company with monthly download cap (limits) with overages either throttled or surcharged (not sure which one)?

Not exactly the best fttp service you can get if its capped/surcharged.

@comcast.net

It's for bragging rights only. And proves once again that no ISP can afford to provide these speeds unchecked.

I believe (going from memory) that the 50Mbps fiber is not capped, but the lower speeds (like 20Mbps) are. Of course you're paying $415.18 for that speed with HDTV & VoIP in a triple play bundle...

Verizon could do 50/50 symmetrical for $130-140.. they do 20/20 for $65 now.. of course if every customer in their 32 subscriber per node wanted 50/50... they'd have do some minor upgrades to gpon not only enabling 50/50, but 100/100 down the line. The way cable companies deploy.. surewest customers would rather have the 20/20 unlimited rather than 50/50 given the fact that the nearest competition (in the footprint) barely breaks 10mbit (on a good day).
