| Antiquated high tech company I quit AT&T few weeks ago when we (BellSouth) got acquired by AT&T/SBC. BellSouth wasn't the most progressive company but it was employee driven corporation. I enjoyed every minute of my time at BLS.
Once AT&T took over they squashed all employee focused programs and incentives. The "new" AT&T tools, culture and processes are antiquated. Only encouragement they have for their employees is that the AT&T is the largest telecom company in the world therefore deal with the bull#$%@.
Dissolving telecommuting is yet another example of AT&T being an employer driven company. Employees are just numbers and they need bow down to the "deathstar". |
