I don't remember where I saw it on here, but it was posted as news a while back that the cell phone companies are charging a million times more than their costs in providing the data service.

 | reply to Tzale That's a load of crap. If cell phone companies are charging "a million times more than their costs in providing" anything, their profits would be through the roof and their stock would be the most valuable stock anywhere. The proof that this IS NOT THE CASE is in the stock reports, which are transparent because all of these companies are publicly traded. Cell phone companies do make money, but they don't make "a million" or a thousand, or a hundred, or even ten times their cost. THAT is reality. |

I might have it wrong and it might be compared to the internet they charge a million times more for bandwidth, or some other outrageous number.... It's definitely not 5, 50 or 100X more, it's in the thousands or more.
