For the 90 MB file I used 250 connections which totally killed their server =P Got almost exactly 150 kilobytes/sec on that. Just did axel -n 250 »url/ Most downloaders have a limit of only 10 or so connections which wouldn't help in this situation but axel doesn't really have a limit so it could be used for DDoS's on web-servers but that is really easy to do by launching a bunch of wget's limited to 200 bytes/sec as well. -- Chugging along on 3x 6016/768k DSL Extreme DSL lines and one 3008/512 ATT DSL DIrect line for a combined total of just over 18 meg download and 2350 up. yay!
