Re: I wonder why... Any sane provider does, most providers (eg. Fido in Canada) gives each account a "advance" of say $300, 75% of that advance it will send you a SMS, when you hit 100% it will cut off your service until you phone in and deal with the charges (read: pay them off).
I have no idea why Bell doesn't have a feature like this, but it shows you just how greedy they are.
