| It feels like a bloated UT2k4 with ugly menus to me. I've seen some absolutely beautiful screenshots from the game, but graphics aren't everything...
UT99 and UT2k4 are still the best iterations of the game, IMO. It's still too early to pronounce UT3 a failure though, IMO.
I still think that the days of PC gaming are coming to a close, but it has been a golden year for first person shooters, regardless of the successfulness of the individual games...CoD, ETQW, UT3, Crysis, Bioshock, Orange Box, TF2.....
It's been a bumper crop year! No doubt about it!

I have to agree, I am a solid UT fan and still like to play. There are few CTF players on anymore, mostly due to the disappointing lack of features and game play as a whole. I will keep playing for the time being and am still holding out hope over the next few months. It all depends on Epic. Their responsiveness to the community or lack of will determine the future of this version.

The bottom line is people are just getting Xbox's and PS3's.
I'll be honest. I'm looking to get an Xbox 360 as well and just give up on PC gaming all together. Heck I can't even play modern games on my PC anyway and have more important things to spend my money on instead of upgrading my whole PC just to play games.
Besides, I have a 55" 1080P HDTV to play on |

| I went the Rear-Projection TV route for price and Overal Picture Quality.
I got the Sony 55A3000.
The closest Flat Panels to come close to the quality of this RPTV were the more expensive Pioneer Kuro's and Sony XBR5's which were in the 4-5 thousand dollar range. I only payed 1600 for my set |
