Were you actually upgraded to 20/20?
Online account management still shows 5/2, 15/2, and 15/15. Verizon has promised the upgrade to 20/5 (and thus 20/20) for many months now. Last I heard it wasn't coming before February or March of 2008. |

It could be an error, though. I guess we'll know for certain tomorrow. |

Considering it's the third anniversary of FIOS, the timing would appear to be well planned. |

Edit: Looks like the qualify page is just down. Notice it says "Can I get it?". For some reason its just not properly checking what you can receive and instead its showing you packages not available to you. (Similar to if you never entered a phone number and just clicked "packages and pricing") |

sense join:1999-08-13 Burke, VA | reply to kmarei I wonder if the 50/20 will be 89.95 like in NY/NJ/CT. I have 30/15 and the online price said 139.95 as well just as it does now but when I called up they said it is 89.95 with a 1 year commitment. |

I entered my phone number and got "Looks like Verizon FiOS Internet Service is already on this line...." - no info about speed packages in my area.
If they're really upgrading speeds, I wonder if it will happen automatically or if we need to call in ?
Edit: Speed test from Speakeasy ATM 15674 kbps down / 1859 kbps up |

stef join:2007-11-01 Glen Allen, VA | reply to kmarei Currently I have 15/2.... I don't see that as an option, I also see the 10/2, 20/5 etc. .... I called, they don't show that as available for me. She suggested I try online, I tried that and the system says I already have FIOS, and can't process the order. |
|
 | reply to kmarei We have the new speeds here in PA as well. Looks like I didn't automatically get upgraded from 15/15. I'll give them a call tp see if I can upgrade. |

 | reply to kmarei Just called, Not In PA, no changes |

 | reply to kmarei Just checked the Verizon FIOS packages and prices page for Hudson, NH 03051, and it's showing the new speeds also.
10/2 - $39.99 20/5 - $49.99 20/20 - $64.99 50/20 - $139.95
Wow! I hope this isn't a mistake... |

JeepMattC'mon the UPremium join:2001-12-28 Wilmington, DE kudos:2 | One thing I noticed, is that if you read the tiny fine print at the bottom of that page, it still shows the 5/2, 15/2, 30/5 speeds as well. -- "ONE team - ONE city - ONE dream!!" |

 | reply to guardlights The rep told me to try and order it on line, and just before you execute the order, bail out, and see what it actually offers. Since I have existing service, the system tells me to call. But just for fun, in another transaction I entered my next door neighbors address, who I know has no VZ services, and the system only offered the older packages, that include 15/15 for 65 bucks if it is bundled. That is the same package I have now. |

Edit: I figured it out....
And, I logged onto my online account(the billing part), and where it used to say my service was "up to 15/2" it now says "up to", so no speed listed, could mean this is changing. That would be great. I am not at home to run a speedtest though. |

Nothing here in PA, inputting an address other than mine in this zip code still shows the crappy old packages.

 | reply to kmarei I get the new speed options in TX. |
