Of the $1.8 billion being spent by Qwest in 2008 Cheyenne, Wyoming will have a massive $3.97 plowed into Qwest's network in Cheyenne.

I hope they bring these upgrades to Wyoming. Although by the time they eventually do, the fiber build-out in Cody/Powell should be lit and active...

That is what is so cool about things Wyoming because Qwest blew off so much of the state. We have some very progressive outfits building out fiber, and wireless networks and they are free from interference from Qwest. Unfortunately Cheyenne is one of the cherries Qwest retained.
