It is *NOT* the Ventrilo devs problem to worry about what ports an ISP may or may not be throttling.<br><br>If they want to use a different port, it is up to the ISP to make sure they provide unfettered access to it. The fact that the old version worked because it didn't use a port Bell throttles is irrelevant.<br><br>However, the issue is already being resolved; Deadpool is working on a fix to this issue.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1184682"><b>MorbidSoul6</b></A> : I just found out that, ventrilo uses the same port as file sharing programs, and we all know bell throttle file sharing programs.<br>Many ppl are complaining about it on the ventrilo forums, and the mods say to tell your isp to stop flagging ventilo, which wont happen cause its a file sharing port.<br>Maybe with enough ppl complaining vent devs will let us use the old vent or fix the issue.<br>I posted this here cause i saw a few topics about vent not working on bell at certain times.<br>Heres vents forums &raquo;<A HREF="http://www.ventrilo.com/forums/" >www.ventrilo.com/forums/</A>]]></description>
