I noticed some weirdness lately as well with the alltel website.

I have been paying my bills online for several months now, but the last two months I couldn't login. I have been busy, so I just paid by phone by calling the 800alltel1 number.

Here is what Alltel Cust Serv tells me in response to my e-mail to them: (hint - they had no idea what I was saying!)

"We understand that you would like to let us know of the difficulties you've experienced while trying to use the online prepaid manager. We're very sorry to hear that and deeply apologize for anything you may have been through, sir.

Alltel's websites ( www.alltel.com and www.alltelu.com ) have been recently renewed. In order to access you'll be asked to register if it's your first time. If for some reason, the system doesn't accept or display some data, then please call Customer Service at 1 800 255 8351 and tell the representative that you need assistance, they are able to help you on this.
Our business hours are the following:

Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

All business hours are in your time zone.

Thank you for making use of our services, this way we fulfill our compromise with you and let us know if we can be of further assistance.

They changed a lot of things and now your pass word may not be valid. I had to reset mine and then found out that now it has to be letters and numbers. That is why I couldn't sign in. They also changed the security questions to really dumb ones.

I now have everything set up again and it is working for me. But I don't like the new format of the site at all.
