I like RCN!

I like the way RCN handle seeding with bit torrent. Limiting the number of connections is a lot more tame than comcast's all out blocking.

I 100% agree with you. I like RCN's policy too. I wish I knew exactly how many upload/download connections they allow so I can tune uTorrent accordingly. But you're right, this is much better than blocking it totally. I get great speeds from RCN on uTorrent and I use it very modestly.

Uhh.. that's exactly what Comcast does -- closes a portion of the connections when seeding. The only difference is in the case of RCN you're saying that your number of connections is being "limited," and in the Comcast threads people are saying a portion of their connections are being "blocked." It's just two different ways of describing the exact same behavior.

No, with comcast, I could not seed at all. I could only upload while downloading.

With RCN I am able to seed perfectly.

So, you are wrong, it's not the same thing.
