silver98 : Please do not trust ACANAC version. They manipulated my complaints and playing with words. Even they truncated my complaints from their FORUM too to mislead customers. In fact, Since Nov 23 there is no DSL internet service at my house, It was "ON" only for 2 days and then no service for over 40 days now. Their staff admitted that this is a fault from their end and keep promising that BELL tech. will come to resolve the problem since Nov 27. Still waiting for miracle to happen. AS of today you can count yourself, how many days lapsed without any internet service for which we have already paid ACANAC. I have told them several times that we DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICE (which is already not there since Nov 27) asked to CANCEL THE ACCOUNT AND REFUND THE FULL YR CHARGES THEY TOOK FROM MY CREDIT CARD, BUT REFUSING AND HANGING UP ON US. We are sick and tired to call and email them every day. Yes, they do not keep same ticket open as they are SMART to do fraud and keep changing the issue ticket number every hour. We have contacted their accounting dept, emergency service and customer services are all contacted several times. They are just promising that Technician will come but no show up yet. Its a mental torture to explain every day over phone to them for no reason.Their customer service rep FARNAZ emailed me today (ref HLP-16781) that we will fix the problem over phone, on our call they told us "to wait for technician and do not call us again and then hung up??? It happened earlier also yesterday when we called and try to explain the situation customer service rep. hung up twice?? If you want more evidence of my complaints and number of days without service let me know pls.. Matter is reported to BBB and all relevant authorities to save customers like me from their trap.

anon : I switched to Acanac on Nov. 27th. The main reason for my switch was the lack of service from my old ISP. Now I'm with Acanac and right now, I am not happy that I switched. Since Nov. 27th, I have not benn able to retreive or send emails through Outlook, nor through the web-based 'Squirrel Mail.' I opened a ticket 2 days ago and thus far, no comments have been made and the problem persists. The one 'live' person I spoke with on the phone was less than helpful. I explained that I would exercise my right to cancel within the 30-day period for a full refund if this problem is not resolved today. The (lack of) technical support rep said she would send an email. Well, the clock is ticking...
