The Verizon phone/dsl person I talked to when ordering had good information on the costs of each type of their service in my area. It's strange that they'd use one set of support/sales people for copper lines and another for FIOS. |

Although, I didn't get the monthly rate reduce, the CSR just credited my account for X dollars times Y months. I still have $105.00 credit on my account. Essentially, I had a credit for a total 5 months of FiOS 15/2Mbps, still about two more to go!

Sorry, Verizon's 'Magic 8 Ball' is out for service, so the reps actually have to make up their own answers for a change.
Gotta love it when each time you call you get a different answer, if you don't like the answer you get, just hang up and call back again.

So true, Verizon DSL is no better, Of course their Magic 8 Ball is defective and has been recalled as their 8 Ball was afraid of being tortured more.  As It kept locking up after a bit.

The reason for the price differential is that subs without telco pay $5 more than a sub with telephone. |
