they might make if they start offering service with major cable companies like time Warner, comcast, cox, RCN, sudden link and all other cable companies.

Time Warner probably has a bid already for the cable modem customers. Buy them out have one less ISP partner to deal with.

They did that back in 2002 with TWC (& Roadrunner) and also Comcast. It never worked too well; the billing models couldn't keep up with the deals the cable companies offered.
