Earthlinks' New Edge Networks is cutting off agents
I was notified two weeks ago that they have canceled my agency, will no longer pay commissions on my accounts, and I can't move them to other agencies that haven't been cut off. the reason? to make the New Edge business unit more profitable. Merry Christmas. -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers."
That's interesting. I'd like to know what is gonna happen with New Edge Networks if Elink decides to sell/close. NEN has a great business model and product (they could lower prices though) but still its a great product and everything is still based here in the States---or at least was.

Industry speculation is that Earthlink/NEN is doing income statement cleanup in preparation for selling the NEN business unit. -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers."
