They bought them several years ago.<br><br>Telco property isnt private. just some areas they weren't granted access to.<br><br>Sounds like someone got the shitty end of the deal with Elink though.]]></description>

The could have went the cheep dial up route for customers who do not want broadband or as a back up or gone into web and account hosting provide a email web host service independent of broadband providers.  Instead Earthlink went on a campaign of intrusion on private telocs property and when the courts shot that down a la Brand X, Earthlink thought could make it on the government muni-wifi dole. <br><br>Rot in Hell Earthlink ]]></description>
