If that's the case, they've got a lot more problems than simple subscriber churn.  Actually, it can. The sat providers figure it costs them around $600 every time they sign up a customer. One reason that's so high is advertising and marketing costs. The other is that maintaining a fleet of trucks and installers isn't cheap, even if all they do is drop of a modem. |
