| Windows Live OnecCare upgrade
I just bought a new Windows Live OneCare v 2.0 because it was free after rebate at Staples. I'm currently running 1.6 on my XP machines and also on a Vista machine. I want to both upgrade to 2.0 and update my subscription. What's the best process? |

1 edit | Just install and let it upgrade itself. There's a 'check for updates' link too. 2.0.2500.14 is the latest version as of yesterday. |

clubs: | Thanks. If my old subscription hasn't expired yet, should I wait until it does so that I don't lose the overlap time by upgrading while I still had time on the old subscription? |

| Depends on the policy and I don't know what that is. Some allow an overlap/early install without changing the expiration date. Some like Kasperski AV do not and at an early install re-start the clock.
