We use Funk Proxy at work, but are slowly looking at LogMeIn as being a really nice free solution for off network connectivity. If it continues to work, we might migrate more that way.

Thanks, Bobkd4dii See Profile for the poll.

I voted none as I really have no need for it but if I were to have the need..I know where to go. Thanks!

None here. Have 2 computers through a router, just have to easily change a Jetico Firewall setting to work between them.

But Remote access has been an area that has intrigued me for a long time, so finding the information interesting.

I use WinXP professional Remote control as well as RADMIN. Radmin allows command line interfacing. Which can be really nice when you need to change an account password.

I used LogMeIn. And have used Remote Desktop Connection from Microsoft.

LogMeIn is great because now it supports both Mac and Windows. And you can connect to a Mac using Windows and vice versa.

LogMeIn has proven invaluable for me. I use it not only to connect to my own computers, but to connect to my client's computers, who are still amazed over how quickly I can fix their computer problems over the Internet from an entirely different city.

Interesting poll. I voted UltraVNC. I used to use RealVNC but not any more.

While we have MS RDP for server we use IntelliAdmin Lan Edition for connecting to endusers. It autoinstall and remove itself after connecting to enduser for support.

Yep. Have had it on for years on my computer. Nothing beats going into any windows computer, typing mstsc.exe and logging into my own computer.

my vote goes for RealVNC as it works quite well. I used to like TightVNC but it did not work so well in Vista.

great poll
