VOIP and Home security systems! If you have one.

Before undertaking the onelink path, check with your home security company first and get all the tech information requirements emailed to you prior to going through Speakeasy VOIP setup.

If you really need to use VOIP and have a system that is incompatible with it, you should plan on adding a metered telephone line dedicated to just the alarm.

Good luck and save yourself the pain and suffering I had.

I have an alarm system. I agree you MUST do your homework. I did and found out that my alarm co uses and Cellular backup system. I just used that as my main call out. So I don't have to worry about VOIP and my alarm. My alarm place a cell call and in fact it is Quicker because there server get the signal without all the Dialing and handshaking involved over POTS Lines.
