No, DirecTV does not currently have that ability. Called Multi-Room Viewing, that capability is rumored to be coming "soon" - whatever that means. And since it is rumor, to me that means it doesn't exist.
And so that you don't misunderstand about locals: - you pay for the local package - if you also pay for the HD Access pack, HD locals are included.
