| Linksys router & Uverse RG optimal settings?
I had my Uverse installed last week, prior I was using a 4100 speedstream modem to my Linksys router which gave the house SBC DSL. Since they installed the new RG and there are not enough ports on the RG to supply all of my wired needs, can I still use my Linksys router for additional ports by plugging into the RG? If so, are there some settings I should change in the Linksys router or RG setup to optimize the setup. Thanks. John |

| You can turn your linksys into a switch by connecting a cable from one of the LAN ports on the RG to one of the LAN ports on the Linksys. If you have enough ports you should be all set to go. If not, it be best to buy a bigger switch to replace the linksys. |
