They claim up to 8 miles from the CO. Is this actually IDSL?

Don't think it is IDSL. My understanding is IDSL uses ISDN signalling so it is limited to 144 kbps symmetrical.

There is a version of ADSL2+ reach extended able to deliver 768 at 19,000 and lower speed a few thousand feet further out.

I have no idea what kind of ADSL can deliver such high speed at 42,000 feet unless it is some form of 2-wire T1 (HDSL) able to use repeaters.

So 768 would probably be the maximum they could do? I get more now with wireless so I guess it wouldn't be worth it.

I called them they said they remove all the load coils use extended range technology must use there modem and wont charge for anything if it wont work

yea thats tops I'm at myers and 18 they said I was 32000 ft and they can go to 38000
