[Update] Terabyte's Image For Windows/DOS Version 2.00

... credit goes to markymoo.

Yesterday, December 21, 2007, Terabyte Software released Image for Windows 2.00 and Image For DOS 2.00 image backup software. There are a lot more benefits and numerous options than 1.xx versions.

The long-awaited version 2.0 is now available.

NOTE: You are allowed to use the V1 and V2 versions concurrently on any
machine that is licensed to use V2.

Users who purchased the product on or after Jan 1, 2006 can obtain the
upgrade for free by visiting:

Users who purchased the product before Jan 1, 2006 can obtain the upgrade at
50% off by logging into:

Note: The V2 Image products introduce a new image file format. This new
format, which uses the .TBI file extension, is not compatible with the V1
image file format. This means that in order to restore from a V1 (.IMG)
image file, you must use a V1 product. Likewise, to restore from a V2 (.TBI)
image file, you must use a V2 product.

In addition, the current versions of the TBIView and ICD2IMG utilities
currently only work with the V1 image (.IMG) files. These utilities will be
upgraded to support the new V2 image (.TBI) files soon.

Users who were using the RC versions should note that they will expire on
Jan 1, 2008.
