DFW Line Monitors
Justin has stated that all those who are part of a "group" will have line monitoring services without toolpoint deduction at this time.

•This is where you need to go to get setup & sign on:
* Sign-Up *
•Make sure when you're done to click "Create Monitor"..make sure you are "pingable".
If you require additional instruction, we can help 
•Don't forget to go to your profile page and add it to the profile +
»/prefs/flair
Use the drop down to add an entry to "My Home Connection"
That way your connection speed, modem, and router info show.
If you are interested please post here in this thread, or IM me for an invitation.

Can check your IP with top left tool.
Make sure to enter that IP in static and check the box for dynamic.
Must do both (unless you want to mess with DeeEnEss)

Fill in the rest & click "Create Monitor"
Receive the invitation, click "accept", and you're done
*If you have a line monitor elsewhere, it's ok..you'll display in both places without interruption |

Great idea, thanks Lisa and Justin!
I though, cannot use this feature, my ISP provided modem will not pass through ping request, and I cannot access the modem's settings.

I've done these for a while with SBC, er, AT&T. It's interesting to see how you compare, and can be helpful when everybody experiences the same problems (same ISP), etc.
