| reply to dishusa And if and when you get a PM response, a flashing small "file folder" icon will appear near the upper left side of the page (when you are logged in), just to the right of the BroadBand title. Clicking on the "folder" will bring up the PM response. |

I did it as my first affiliate sale to see if it would track and I would get credit for it. Just so I understand, are you signed up as an affiliate through the affiliatecenter.viatalk.com website? If so, then you need to either use the affiliate link that is generated from that affiliate website to place an order...or use agent.viatalk.com (if you want to manually input your affiliate id instead of using your affiliate link to order).
The "Referrer ID" field on the order page was only used for those that were getting account % credit for sales (which was a completely different type of referral id/program).
This is where the problem, I believe, occurred for you. |

| I actually don't recall how I navigated to the order page. I'm an experienced affiliate so I probably cleared cookies and used the link generated from ViaTalk. Do you know which method of ordering is more reliable? Link or referrer ID? I want to start signing up customers and then go the the hell that is described on this thread trying to get paid. |

| reply to ireviewer I understand what you mean because for all most 3 month's, Commission Junction has been telling me that I would get my money. Now there telling me that I would get my money on 08/18/08 then then they turn a round and start telling me that I'm going to get my money on 08/25/08 and when I try to send them an email it ends up on dead ears also some times then I would call them on the phone I would get hung up on so I'm not sure what there problem is.

Robert Atlanta GA I received this email from CJ on 9-19-2008
"Dear ------------, We wanted to let you know that ViaTalk, one of the advertisers you are joined with in the Commission Junction network, has been reactivated. If you removed ViaTalk links from your Web site(s) when you received notice of the advertiser's deactivation, please get links at the Advertiser Detail Page. If you have further questions regarding the status of ViaTalk, please contact Commission Junction your account representative or Client Support. Best regards, Commission Junction"
Sounds like they paid CJ some money inorder to be reactivated. This is the second time I've seen them reactivated within pry the past 6-9 months. -- --------------------------------- VoIPMonitor.net & TVover.net

I wish you would tell me who's in charge of commission payments since Brandi Solomon isn't with ViaTalk anymore. It would help save both of us time in the future by dealing with the direct source. Same issue here. Have pending commissions for a LONG time. I opened a ticket on nov.5 and VT closed it WITHOUT ANY COMMENTS! Not even an email to notify me that the case was closed! WOW!
Crooks, seriously. Next steps: 1) Sue in small claims 2) Trash the already trashy BBB reports 3) Blog endlessly about this scam 4) PM Brendan hoping for a reply within one year |
