Re: AVG Anti-Virus 7.5 Professional - FREE

Well I was able to download both programs without any problem, however, what I was not able to do and still remain un-abled to..is obtain a link for the registration code......so there they are just sitting on the desktop totally useless....

Since both programs are free...should anyone care to PM me a registration code for one or both programs it would be appreciated......I can think of no reason why doing so would would be considered illegal.

Thanks

AVG has the serial embedded into the program.

thanks..I did not try to install AVG ao was not aware of that info. I was more interested in Spysweeper. The anti-virus I now use I am happy with....sorry, I should have mentioned that in my first post.

I've been using AVG Pro for 1.5 years now with no complaints. I had been using Symantec Corporate AV for several years, but it allowed a trojan infection of my computer that actually hijacked the Symantec email proxy. No scans by Symantec could locate or fix the problem. I downloaded the free AVG and it detected and cleaned the trojan during the install. Symantec claimed for months that there was no infection of their product, but oddly a few months later they issued an update to correct it. I will never, EVER, trust Symantec for anything again.

AVG does what I need, doesn't get in the way, and doesn't affect my computer performance. I've installed the free version on several friends computers now, and I use the Pro version myself.

i was debating on installing avg on my current computer after my old computer died from a psu shortage, and i was putting off installing avg for a while but now that i saw this, i installed it without a problem, didnt ask for a serial, updated fine, good til 12/1/2008...
Wait, isn't it supposed to be a year after install date? Is everyone getting this date? I haven't installed my copy (will do it when needed).
