Surely you can't be serious
I went to add to my neglected journal only to be told that it's too old -- no posts in nearly a year. Ack.
Merry Christmas (or equivalent); we've had a nice day in the house despite half the house being unusable due to our construction project (vacuuming should NOT make a visible difference in a rug!), but it was nice to go out to breakfast (only one place we could find that was open!) and to open gifts leisurely. The big girl had fun opening both hers and her 6-week-old-sister's gifts; next year will be a rude awakening when everyone will want to open their own!
Pretty much a non-Christmas for my wife and I, given how much our new part of our house is going to cost, but a few small token gifts were nice. We've already been up to NJ and PA and back for my side of the family, and we'll deal with my wife's family today and later this week. Should all be nice.
The job is good though I haven't been there since early November since the baby was born, but I'll be back right after the new year.
