| No Way There is no way they can do this. The Internet was built on the idea that all information is open and available. Blocking individual sites or application is not only attacking the foundation of the internet, but also free speech (1st amendment in the US), innovation (companies using the technologies to distribute free/payed content), as well as the fact that that would surely be seen as another attack on the already dwindling consumer rights. Should ISPs start this, they will end up with more than just the cost of piracy software, but also the court costs of numerous groups... not just the EFF.
