 | last time i checked.. the last time i checked, ISPs were not police in any form (private or government run). all the ISPs should be required to do is obey legal orders from a court of law and not take sides on this issue (for some reason, ron paul's idea of 'soft facism' is coming to mind). i don't know the technicalities of the laws, but is it possible to consider some of these actions as impersonating a police officer? but i think that is wishful thinking
i say this is more proof that the monopoly setup and maintained by the RIAA/MPAA/IFPI (and so on) is crumbling and they are scared they will loose more money for their questionably 'good quality' intellectual property. |
