[northeast] Verizon Router...can i change? I need a bigger one

Ok I called Verizon up today, after being on hold for 3 hours and getting disconnected, they told me they do provide a bigger router for verizon business customers, but not for residential customers.

Anyway im trying to get the router with more then 4 line connections that go to it...Anybody can recommend me a good one so it can work with fios and be ideal? or anybody know whats the router they use for business clients, so maybe i can Ebay and find it on my own. Or lastly, if anybody can recommend me a hub/switch that will help me out with this problem. Preferably not usb or firewire hub/switch.

I would just recommend getting a switch. I personally like the Linksys Business line which consists of the SD205 (5 port), SD208 (8 port) and SD216 (16 port). You can get whatever one has the number of ports you need and just simply run a Cat5 cable from a port on the switch to one of the LAN ports on the router and everything will work just fine. Don't need to mess with any settings at all.

That's correct, it will not.

I would recommend one of these:

»www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-8-Port-Gi···6&sr=8-1

You connect this to a LAN port on the Actiontec router, and then you connect all your PCs and devices to that.
