It's probably ready to go, but Verizon needs to follow a proper production release process. Availability via CSR probably indicates a "hot fix" is needed and they bypassed the process.

I wouldn't want to damage the relationship with Verizon here, especially with the excellent Verizon Direct forum. You may want to consider invalidating the link to the firmware.

It’s probably safe to say much of the success Verizon has had with the Fios deployment is in fact due to this forum, where else does Verzion receive this type of exposure? it's like free advertising so I don’t see Verizon making a case out this...
