So how much am I paying for?

If you want to charge me for every byte that comes down your "pipe" to my computer, how much of it am I expected to be held accountable for? Do I have to pay for pop-up full-motion Flash ads? Redirects to heavy-content sites? Updates for security programs that your "package deals" include? Spam Emails that your junk-mail blocker doesn't catch? If I go to a site and you throw up your own advertisements over theirs, do I have to pay for the bandwidth their ads used? What about yours?

I look at it this way: If the Post Office started charging me a fee for every letter I received, I'd be VERY upset if I was charged for receiving junk mail I'd never asked for. I see this situation as akin to that.
