Bridge mode

Ummm can Verizon still force updates while the router is in bridge mode? Or does it become a manual process when its in Bridge mode? I am almost afraid to touch it because its working beautifully in bridge mode and my VOIP works great and so does my access. Any suggestions?

I`m so glad I ebay'd my router for 45$ when I first had fios installed. Never liked off the shelf routers myself. I`ll stick with my linux box that has been up for over 6mo now..

good luck with those actiontec's..
