Re: Wrong.. said by fAcEtIOUs:]Based on hundreds of news articles over the last 2 years publishing the results of surveys, polls, etc. most of which were either written by "stenographers" simply laying out the industry line, are based on non-reviewed data paid for by the industry, or are simply numbers made up by some group or organization.
the only rigorous, academic studies I am aware of indicate that "pirating" has little or no impact on media sales; one study targeted at P2P music sharing indicates there could actually be a positive impact on music sales. |
