Is there a way to export the current firmware from the modem? Have a D90 with version 4.0.0.2. Or perhaps someone out there has a copy of this version? Hoping that a update might help with my less than stellar line quality issues. |

| Thanks for your help. I used Westell 327W when I was in New York.I brought it to go back China. Before I upgraded the firmware, I can use it in China with PPPoE, sometimes it reboot automatically. So I upgraded the firmware for it. I don't know why it does not work after upgraded firmware. I only use Westell 327W. |

If you want to rollback to your old classic 327w interface ( ver 3.xx.xx) you can use below link to download...
»business.verizon.net/help/dsl/?c···aLinkFix
Let me know if you cannot able to download from above link and i will place it on private server.
BTW: I tried new firmware and it did not work/like it ( it never connected to internet ) so i roll back to original and it rocks...

Where do I find the update for Macs? |

| I noticed an improvement in my DSL transceiver stats after I upgraded my Westell B90 327W modem from the original factory firmware (VER:03.02.00a) to the latest firmware (VER:4.04.03.00).
Here's my original 03.02.00a firmware transceiver stats:
Transceiver Revision: 1.0.9.0 Vendor ID Code: 4 Line Mode: G.DMT Mode Data Path: Interleaved Transceiver Information Down Stream Path Up Stream Path DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec) 3360 864 Margin (dB) 14.0 11.0 Line Attenuation (dB) 46.0 28.0 Transmit Power (dBm) 16.7 11.0
Here's my new 4.04.03.00 firmware transceiver stats:
Transceiver Revision: 7.2.3.0 Vendor ID Code: 4 Line Mode: G.DMT Mode Data Path: Interleaved Transceiver Information Downstream Path Upstream Path DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec) 3360 864 Margin (dB) 14.5 11.0 Line Attenuation (dB) 43.5 27.0 Transmit Power (dBm) 16.3 11.8
As you can see my download margin increased by 0.5 dB and my download line attenuation decreased by 2.5 dB. My upload margin remained the same but my upload line attenuation decreased by 1 dB. Have others experienced similar results when upgrading to the latest Westell 327W firmware? |

| reply to brugar I just uploaded the new firmware and I noticed a little speed boost on the Verizon Central web page after the modem rebooted. Since I just got this modem and the Verizon DSL service, I don't have any other comments on how the new firmware is working. |

@verizon.net | reply to brugar Upgraded my firmware to 4.4.3 last night and everytime I connect to my office using my Cisco VPN software, the modem would reset. Downgraded back to 03.02.00. |

| Re: Frequent loss of connection with version 4.4.3
Ever since I upgraded to 4.4.3, my DSL modem loses connection with the internet at least once a day. The home config screen shows the status as "Pending". I have to reboot the modem to reconnect. Previously, with 3.2.1, this would only happen once every 6 months or so. Now it is happening once or twice a day.
Has anyone else had this problem? If this keeps up, I will need to downgrade to 3.2.1. That is too bad, because I noticed that this version fixed some issues with the firewall. |

I called tech support but they did nothing. Are you using a wired or wireless conection when this occurs? For me, I'm using a wired connection. But I wouldn't think it would matter, since it is the DSL connection that dies, not the Ethernet connection. I can still hit the modem/router just fine, it just says that the status is "pending" and "not ready for Internet access". I went ahead and downgraded because I couldn't stand it any longer, and so far no dropped connections in a couple of days. |
