Many cable companies do this. Cablevision has it's "optimum Autos" division. Roadrunner doesn't do much other then own beepbeep.com, they don't handle the data input or polling for the site, its handled by a 3rd party company called "World Now"
for car dealers who use Comcast/COX and other providers Vehix.com has an agreement with them that the dealers get free data polling and ad placement on vehix.com with thier cable package all of which is handled by Homenetinc
YahooAutos.com is simply yahoo's branding using cars.com inventory provided by ADP/DMI
So...I ask...why is this news?
