| [Xtreme] Trying to get 6.0.............
I went to the BS site and logged on, I clicked on the option that was next to my listed Internet Service that said upgrade your service. It brought up a box that had the listed Internet options, 6.0 was not one of them. The highest it has is 3.0, which is what I already have. What would be the reasons that I can't upgrade to 6.0? |

| reply to MuscogeeDave I wish I could get 6 meg, even though BS, I mean At&t, keeps calling me and offering it to me for FREE! Yes, For FREE!! No Additional Charges.
I still with I could get it, being over 14,000 ft from the CO, it just isn't possible. I tried, took them up on it and it lasted for about an hour, I saw 5.8 meg WOOT!, before the system automaticly put me a noise profile, then I could barley get 1meg. It took them two weeks to get me back on a working 3 meg service again, and it is still boarder line.
Atleast they are telling you the truth that you can't get it, when they keep telling me I can, when I really can't. SIGH!
I did find out why they are telling me I can get it, it is becuase I am 2000 ft from an Analog Switch which was slated for replacment early last year. Needless to say, the old silver box is still there. They marked the spot with some flags last year and there is fiber coiled up at the top of the pole, but no DSLAM for me, not yet. Looking forward to the day they replace the box. |
