I have Fios TV and Internet. Is there a good way for me to bypass the Actiontec all together and just use it for TV/VOD etc. and then use my linksys (gathering dust on my shelf) for internet.

The actiontec has like 300 ports open from everytime I use PNP. It is killing me. It is hard to configure and a pain in the butt. I would love to be rid of it all together for internet purposes.

How do Install the Firmware update? Its in a file format that is not an .exe file.

So I guess my question is, where do I drop it at to overwrite the old file?
