Quentin : I personally wouldn't use any other search engine other than Google. It gives me all the results I need, and in a nice format too.

They may be monopolizing a few things, but how can that be a bad thing in the 'search' category? I'd rather have 1 really good search engine that does its job (exactly as Google does) than to have a bunch of half-assed search engines that I have to go through one by one until I find what I need... Thats how it used to be with me, I'd search for something on Yahoo, Msn, Dogpile, etc just to find a certain thing. But with Google, you don't need to do that. :)
--
~There is no Normal or Abnormal...
jbizzle : google is gaining to much steam. they're monopolizing the way we search and grafting the internet into what the corporates want. they are also planning on making more web apps. eventually the majority of new internet users will not be installing communication software and whatnot, but will go to google/myspace/whatever and use their web based apps. the control of a computer is slowly slipping away from us like our rights since 911. :hmm:
