2 edits | Power supply replacement for Motorola 2210
I picked up this modem but there was no power supply. There are no identifiable voltage req's on it and was wondering where I could find a replacement one.
I did a web search but had no luck.
The modem is from the phone/ISP provider in south Louisiana.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks! |

| The supply that comes with the 2210-02 in the at&t central and west regions is rated at 12 volts DC .41 amps. It has a center positive tip.
I'm not sure but the supply looks like it is of the switching type so it may be regulated although mine showed 13.1 volts with no load so it is likely unregulated.
I suppose you could try a standard 12 volt 500 mA supply from Radio Shack(Catalog #: 273-1774). Take the modem in so they give you the correct size tip with the supply. You get one tip free with the supply.
I know they offer a slightly different version of the 2210 in the old bellsouth region which may include LA so you may ask in the at&t southeast forum if someone can look at theirs. I'd be very surprised if they were not the same supply though. |
