First, let me preface this by saying that I'm a Network Analyst with Windstream's Broadband Technical Assistance Center, so I know almost everything about what's going here, I'm not a newbie by any means. Anyway, on with the story.

I upgraded to DSL Elite, and the speed was upgraded today. A few months ago they said if they upgraded it they would have to move me to a new DSLAM. I understand that, I saw them when they installed the DSLAM, and it's probably 4000 ft from my house, probably only 2000 as the crow flies. Anyway, today they upgraded my speed to the 6M up/768k down and my modem is only training at 3.008M up/604k down and my SNR Margins are 2dB down and 6dB up. I know from experience that this is terrible. My speed test I get 2.547Mb down every time. I called tech support. I talked to them for an hour and a half. They had me try the modem directly to my computer, they tried resetting my modem, he put me on hold like 15 times to talk to tier 2, or run tests. He says I have to wait until tomorrow for someone from the line department to call me tomorrow. I'll be at work tomorrow. Plus just 3 months ago they gave me new line equipment and a new drop to the pedestal which is in my backyard. Now I am almost certain after years of experience with this, that they didn't move me to the new dslam... they just reprovisioned me to 6 meg on a dslam that I'm 18,000 feet away from and can barely get 1.5Mb on. Is there any way that I can get this taken care of faster instead of all these stupid tests? Provisioning doesn't cause bad margins, I know that, I told the Tier 1 guy that, but still, test after test and still no resolution.
