Firefox, NoScript, Hosts file and KIS7 do a good job - don't find the need for anything else.

I get along fine with the built-in popup blocker in Firefox as well as the wonderful ABP with Rick's filter lists. Thanks for doing this poll delenn13.

I use IE and the Google Toolbar. Years ago I used to use NoAds.

Thanks for the poll, delenn13 See Profile!

I use Adblock plus and Noscript in Firefox, they do the job in Linux. In Windows I use those as well, but with Proxomitron added - it's the only decent option I've found for Opera.

Seven computers all using Internet Explorer's pop-up blocker.

However, in addition to Internet Explorer's pop-up blocker, three of the seven computers have Zone Alarm Pro's pop-up blocker enabled. I can't remember the last time I saw a pop-up on those three computers.

Thank you for the poll, delenn13 See Profile. Well done!

Well done, Delenn!

I've been a Firefox user ever since it came out in its infancy. It's done nothing but improve over time, and I can't remember the last time I saw a popup on my laptop. Drives me nuts at work when I get popups checking the news when we're slow; of course, they're using IE 6 with nothing to protect it.

Firefox, NoScript, AdBlock Plus.

I also have Mcafee Security Suite but I have browser protection disabled. If I were to use IE7, I would enable Mcafee's browser protection.
